LEADERS INSTITUTE 2011

The LEADERS Institute June 20 -24, 2011, at the

Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor Hotel.

LEADERS  is an opportunity for women in faculty and administrative positions to explore their role in leadership and prepare for new challenges as they advance in their career paths.  The LEADERs Institute is a five day content-intensive, experiential workshop; and is based on a recently revised curriculum which reflects AACC Core Competencies for Leadership.  In addition, part of the LEADERS experience includes working with a mentor and creating a project which will benefit you, as well as your college. The article, NILD Leadership Development Programs to Continue, which appeared in Women in Higher Education, gives an overview of the LEADERS Institute since its inception in 1981, to its current relocation to Baltimore hosted by the Community College of Baltimore County.
